Cali is world cycling epicenter.
Opening ceremony ready. Seven finals in first day.
Commissaires Panel of Track World Cup UCI Third Stage, Cali 2009, arrives today to Cali.
Hour cero is near, and next thrusday december 10th, at midday, starts the World Cup with qualifying races. First session go until 17:50 and 18:30 starts open ceremony, and then come in dispute first medals.
Commissaires Panel is integrated by Canadian International Commissaire Wayne Promario (President), British Alexander Donike (Judge Referee), French Hervé Brocque (member), American Noreen Landys (Secretary).
Antidoping Inspectors are American Andrew Taus and Canadian Louise Lalonde.
Today organization expects for Cuban Pepe Pelaez, Cycling Panamerican Confederation president, and next thursday morning will arrive Jorge Ovidio Gonzalez, Cycling Colombian Federation president.
Opening ceremony.
Organization of Track World Cup UCI, Third Stage, had designed a brief and emotional opening ceremony, leaded by Cali Mayor, Jorge Ivan Ospina, and event director, Hernando Zuluaga.
Ceremony will start 18:30, with length of 30 minutes and a beautiful music show.
Seven finals in first session.
At 19:00 hours, next thursday, it will start evening session with first gold medal, in men kilometer time trial.
